Seemingly, everyone feels one way or another about the fact that winter is fast approaching. Most of the girls are either mourning the end bare legs and flip flops, or they are relishing in the thought of living in fisherman knit jumpers and losing themselves in warm coats.
TwentyFour HQ has exciting upcoming events and launches over the past couple and coming months. Recently, our brand was launched on a couple of new platforms. OOSTOR.com and ARCADELA.co.uk, they are specifically focused on promoting independent brands like TwentyFour. Next month we are exhibiting at the STYLIST Live at Olympia, this is a 3 day event, hosting everything from beauty to home, food to champagne and cocktail bars. TwentyFour are at stand B49, it is a great chance for you to see our designs in real life and it would be lovely to meet you.
The Deyla blue V neck jumpsuit is launching this week (as featured above and below). This is the perfect statement jumpsuit for a night out with friends or that party (Christmas party season is only round the corner). The blue is a bold statement and steers away from the usual winter colour pallet, and it has sleeves, this is ideal if 20 minutes queuing for the cloak room to put your jacket in is not your thing. The sleeves can be worn pushed up to give a ¾ length style (a style point that is very on trend at the moment) combined with the tailored legs, a classic design feature, you have a contemporary design with the attention to detail of a wardrobe classic.
This week also saw us reshooting some of our designs, it is a great way of refreshing the TwentyFour customer’s minds, and reminding us we loved these designs in the first place. The Tessa jumpsuit (pictured in the armchair) photographed so beautifully, the block colour navy is chic, while the fit exudes effortless sophistication. Styling possibilities are endless with this jumpsuit, red lips, heels and jewelry look just as good as a pair of converse and a chunky cardigan thrown over the top.
Secondly, the MiMi jumper and the Panelle skirt, were styled together and reshot (as pictured above). There are only a few of the MiMi jumpers left in stock, along with only a few Panelle skirts. By styling them together, we hoped to ignite some outfit inspiration, it can also be worn with a pair of black winter tights for a season appropriate look, or black sock boots. They can be worked into your wardrobe as individual pieces to, try pairing the skirt with a boyfriend t shirt and trainers. And go all black by wearing leather trousers with the MiMi jumper, finishing the look with a pair of chunky boots.
Lastly, we wanted to talk about a topic that is poignant, significant and relevant. There has been huge focus in the media recently about mental health; it affects one in four people in Britain, and unfortunately up until recently has been stigmatized. Our Founder, Lucie Manna, is a believer incorporating self-expression through the way you dress. Finding individuality in your own personal style, and feeling good about the way you look; rather than slotting in with the mainstream. Men and women need to know that it is ok not to be ok. Self-expression is so important in defeating those repressive tendencies that can have negative effects on your state of mind. There is a lot of focus on social media on what you should or should not be wearing or doing, TwentyFour wants to support you being you. Mental illness comes in so many forms and severity, and TwentyFour are looking to address this issue, so £3 from every sale on our website we will be donated to mental health charity MIND.
